We have been pretty busy around here working on some major projects in the village. Both projects have been on the radar for some time, and thanks to our new Director Troy White, and Board Member Marie Shields, they are finally underway.

Hunter Times

Last week we begin re-roofing the Hunter Times building. Our Facilities Manager, Joe Vasek, along with a group of volunteers started tearing off the old roof last week, and continued work through the weekend. The project should be finished sometime tomorrow.

Shields helped to get the funding for the project.

A big thanks goes out to all those who donated either time or money to this project.

Arthur Town Hall

Anyone who has been to Bonanzaville in the past year has seen the Town Hall on stilts waiting to be moved to a new location. Thanks again to Shields and the great people of Arthur, ND, the building will be moved over the winter.

Vasek begin preping the new location last week, and work will continue this week. The whole project should be complete by the spring.
