Arthur Town Hall

The Arthur Town Hall has long been a great attraction at Bonanzaville with its old fashion style movie theater feel; offering movies to visitors and free popcorn during events. With the addition of the Barnes Pavilion, Arthur Town Hall was moved to a temporary location, and set on stilts until a permanent location was decided on and the funds for the move were raised. Thanks to the efforts of Board Member Marie Shields, Executive Director Troy White, and the people of Arthur, ND, this building has a new home.

Excavating on the permanent location took place last week

Permanent Location

This summer, the Buffalo Bandstand was moved next to St. John’s Church, opening a location for Arthur Town Hall next to the East Gate. After much preparation, excavating on the new site began last week. Today the foundation for the building will be poured. Support walls will be worked on in the coming days.

The coming weeks will be very exciting around here as Arthur Town Hall’s permant location continues to be prepared!! Check back for continued updates on this project.
