Bonanzaville will donate and serve chili at the Salvation Army Monday, Dec. 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The chili was purchased by Bonanzaville for Christmas on the Prairie. Approximately 20 gallons were left after the event.
“We had a great Christmas on the Prairie, but had a large amount of leftover chili. Staying with the Christmas spirit we thought the best thing to do is give to those in need,” Bonanzaville Executive Director Troy White said.
Along with donating the chili, Bonanzaville’s staff will serve the lunch time meal on Monday.
The Salvation Army and Bonanzaville want to remind the public the red kettle campaign is still in progress. They encourage shoppers to donate when they see a red kettle.
