WEST FARGO, ND- November 9th, 2012- Upon completion of the New Lucien C. Barnes Pavilion, Bonanzaville continues to make headway as it receives a challenge to raise $50,000 by December 15th, 2012. On Monday, October 29th the donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Bonanzaville that if they were able to raise $50,000 by the December 15th deadline, he would match it with an additional $50,000.

“This is an incredibly generous opportunity for Bonanzaville” said executive director Troy White. “I am confident that with the community’s support, we will meet this challenge like we have all the others.”

To date, Bonanzaville has raised $14,000 toward their goal.

If you are interested in helping Bonanzaville reach their goal, please go to the Bonanzaville website at and navigate to our donations page under the “support us” tab. You can also contact Troy White at (701) 282-2822 or to make a donation.

Bonanzaville is a pioneer village and museum operated by the Cass County Historical Society, with a mission to collect, display and interpret artifacts relevant to the history and cultural heritage of the Red River Valley. Our goal is to preserve and pass down our history to the next generation. It is the region’s largest historical attraction with 43 historic buildings, and more than 400,000 artifacts.
